I have tried and made this as comprehensive as possible and will update if something else comes to mind.

The login window is extremely simple to look at and easy to use also.
Here I will explain what is the login window and what it does.
The main things you need to fill in are:
Your Chat Name - This is where your Yahoo ID goes.
Your Chat Password - This is where your Password goes.
Start in room - This is the name of the room u want Y!mLite to log into.
Other things that you see on the login screen
Auto Login - This will log into chat automatically and will take you into the last room that you visited.
Remember Password - This will remember your Password.
YMSG - This is YSMG Server can be prone to booting (by default, this is selected).
Sparta - This is a none Yahoo! server for getting away from Yahoo! chat.
Force port 80 for firewalled users - Many a times Y!mLite would have difficulty in running if it is behind a corporate or a workplace firewall. Therefore, if a firewall is stopping Y!mLite from connecting use this option.
Invisible - This will sign you into Y!mLite chat but you will remain invisible to your buddies.
Remembers Usernames - Remembers identities and nicknames you use to login. Please uncheck if on a shared computer.
Messenger login only - This will sign you onto the pager mode wherein you do not enter a chat room but you are able to interact with buddies in your buddy list.
Auto Captcha - This is a newly added feature by Yahoo! wherein you need to enter a captcha code if you want to enter a Yahoo! chat room. Craig has modifies the feature wherein you can use the same captcha code to enter different rooms for the next five minutes. After five minutes the old captcha code dies and then if you change room a fresh captcha code would be generated.
