| Gayle was raised on a farm in Ellis County where cotton, wheat, and corn fields colored the countryside. Diplomas from Palmer High School,Texas Wesleyan College in Fort Worth and Stephen F. Austin University are displayed in her office.. The inspirational force behind her passion for education is her husband, John Fuller, who was also her grade school sweetheart. John's spiraling career in education fostered their moves to Palmer, Nacogdoches, Wells, Plano, Muleshoe, San Marcos and now in Wylie. As a teacher she has taught kindergarten, first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades as well as coached basketball, volleyball, and track in high school and junior high. She ended her 15 year long teaching career in the classroom in 1986 when her writing and publishing business started to soar. Practice books for the TABS, TEAMS, TAAS, and TAKS books have been the center of her career as she writes, edits and publishes materials to assist students in mastering concepts tested on the Texas mandated criterion reference tests. The Teacher�s Touch teacher supply store was established in San Marcos and then later moved to Waxahachie. GF Educators Inc. was established in 1993. Apples for the Teacher in Greenville was purchased in 2002 and then moved to Interstate 30. The Learning Patch in Plano, another teacher supply store, was opened in 2003. The center of her life is her children: Jason and Shelley, Kris and Kim, Brandon and Heather, Callie and Cassie. They have left the nest, but their hearts are still within hers. Tyson is the first of many grandchildren that will bless her heart and soul as she sees her life go on as they spread love to all they touch. God blesses Gayle each day . |
