The Rotary Club of Tocoa was chartered in 1987 and it’s located in the town of Tocoa, Department (Province) of Colon, in the northern part of Honduras.  Tocoa has a total population of about 68,000 people; 25,000 in the urban area and the rest is a rural population.  The main activity of the population is agriculture in the rural while the commercial activities are predominantly in the urban part of town.  This part of the country is very poor and needy and our Club has carried several activities or projects not only in Tocoa but all over Colon, in order to improve the quality of life of our fellow people, and much more is still needed.
