2003-06-21, SATURDAY:
This date has been especially reserved for the Inauguration of the
Benjamin of all Rotary Clubs of Honduras: The Trujillo Rotary Club, located in
the city of Trujillo, which is the capital of the Department of Colon, in the
Atlantic Coast of Honduras, and the sponsoring clubs: The Tocoa Rotary Club and The
Rotary Club of La Ceiba are inviting everyone who wish to join us in this
memorable date for Rotary History in our country.
The Charter Letter will be given to this enthusiastic group of citizens
with a service to the community willingness and the Party for this occasion
will be held at The Christopher Columbus Beach Resort Hotel at
2003-06-30, MONDAY:
This is the last day for the first year of the ongoing 3H Grant our club
is sponsoring with the assistance of several other Clubs in the
2003-07-12, FRIDAY:
The new Board of Directors for the Rotary Year 2003-2004 of the Rotary
Club of Tocoa will take on the responsibilities for the club this date. A special party has being programmed for this
event at
2003-07-14 MONDAY to 2003-07-26 SATURDAY:
We will have the visit of Rotary Volunteer Janet DeMarcke from
2003-10-24 to 2003-10-26:
Conference on Honduras to be held in Copan Ruinas and Tocoa Rotarians,
3H Grant Staff and 3H Grant International Volunteers (7 persons in total) will
be attending this Conference with the purpose of encouraging international
sponsors to continue the support of Rotary Projects in Colon, Honduras.
ATTENCTION INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEERS:
We are currently working on a volunteer project to have you all come to
our region on a tourist package. We are
coordinating this project with the support of the Honduras Institute of
Tourism, IHT (www.letsgohonduras.com)
and we will have more details about this amazing program in the next few weeks.
