These are my creations starting with the featured project.
Materials Needed: 36 Peg round knitting loom, hook, yarn needle, 24 peg round knitting loom.
1. Using a 36 peg round loom follow the instuctions for making a circle.
2. Make 29 rows.
3. Reach inside the loom and place each loop from the first row made on the corresponding pegs.
{The loop is the long one not exactly centered with the peg}
This will fold the knitting in half.
4. Using a crochet hook (I actually use a rather crude form of a crochet hook. It's just a "L" shaped metal hook. The hook part is not curve like a crochet hook.) pick up both rows of yarn off the Last peg.
5. Slide the yarn back on the hook a bit and take the rows of yarn off the second to last peg.
6. Pull the yarn from the second to last peg through the two loops of yarn from the last peg.
7. Then take both rows of yarn from the third to last peg and pull them through the loops from the second to last peg.
8. Continue doing this until all the loop are off the pegs and only two rows of yarn are on the hook.
9. Cut the yarn leaving about an inch of yarn to pull throught the last set of loops. Knot and weave in yarn and trim any extra yarn.
10. This is the Collar for the dress. The side where the bottom and top row meet is the top of the dress. The top should be tighter and smaller around than the bottom of the collar.
11. Switch to a small 24 peg round loom.
12. Skippin pegs 1, 2, and 3, Start wrapping the yarn on the fourth peg.
13. Continue wrapping until you have 18 pegs wrapped. Leaving the first 3 and the last 3 pegs unwrapped.
14. Using the Panel Instructions Wrap the yarn around the pegs a second time.
15. Knit using hook.
16. Keep going back and forth until you have a total of 15 rows.
17. You should now be at the forth peg. Wrap pegs 3 through 22 and knit.
18. Knit 2 more rows (Total rows = 18)
19. You should now be on peg 22. wrap peg 23 and continue wrapping through to peg 2, and Knit.
20. Knit two more rows.
21. You should now be on peg 2. Wrap yarn around peg 1 and continue until all pegs are wrapped. Knit.
22. Knit 23 more rows. (total rows = 45)
23. Using hook take the loop off of peg 1 and then peg 2.
24. Pull the loop from peg 2 through the loop on peg 1.
25. Continue doing this until all pegs are empty. Cut an inch of yarn and pull through last loop and knot.
26. This is the front of the dress. With about 10 inches of yarn and a yarn needle stitch the top of the dress to the collar (about 1/4 of the way up the collar)
27. Now weave yarn up the sides of the dress (NOT all the way up)leaving a space for the armholes.
