INTRODUCTION
The Church has, like the family, some important spiritual and psychological roles in today's society. She is not, therefore, the 'opium of the people', as had erroneously thought Marx. She is a huge family gathering in its womb all men and all worshipers having the same spiritual disposition. Although She has known, unfortunately, some setbacks, in the communities where the quality of material life have been excellent, she has never faded away, since she has such many important functions to fill for humanity. |
