Well, Punch is now finally gone, I think.  It survived two other incarnations, but the end of Alan Coren's editorship, in the 1980s, was really the last stand of the great humour magazine on which the New Yorker was modeled.

 
This was my first ever Punch cartoon. It appeared in the December 1983 issue. An advertising agency bought the original drawing. It has been very popular over the years.
