Eclectus Parrot - Avian Antics

Size: 12-14"
Excellent Talkers, right up there with African Grey's.
Highly intelligent, exceptionally beautiful.
One of the few sexually dimorphic species, they were once thought to be two entirely different species!
Females are a gorgeous Red, Purple and Blue.
Males are a striking Lime Green with Red underwing areas.
Both sexes make excellent pets.
Not a particularly "cuddly" species. Eclectus seem to prefer "hanging out" and just being with you rather than being snuggled and cuddled.

Require stimulating activity, some special but uncomplicated dietary considerations,
as well as exercise and out of cage time.
Cage: 24x36 Minimum. Lots of toys and exercise.
