The Empire State building. I took this from 3 blocks away ... that's how far I had to go to try and fit the top of the building into the picture!!
This is in the lobby of the Empire State building. That's where we started queuing to go up to the top!! It took us 2 hours to get up there!!
Sandra and I on the freezing cold side of the Empire State building!! (I couldn't feel my hands - as soon as this photo was taken I was digging in my jacket for my beanie and gloves!!)

Going up the Empire State building was the only thing Sandra and I really paid to do while we were in NYC. It was worth it - the view was amazing!!

This is the view from the south side (I think??) of the Empire State building. You can see a titchy little Statue of Liberty in the far distance! (If you know where to look!)
This is just looking straight down at the streets of New York.
And that pretty building on the far left is the Chrysler Building. I didn't get a chance to go see it but hopefully I will next time I'm in New York.
