This pic was taken from the steps of the second hostel Sandra and I stayed in. It was cheaper than
the first one ($28 I think) and was very nice. Just a little bit far from the subway! It was only about a
5-10 min walk away but that seems like miles when you're freezing to death in the snow and you're lugging all your
bags around with you!
This was taken looking down 88th street towards Central Park.

And that's me standing on the steps of the second hostel (I can't remember what it was called - I've got it
written down somewhere so when I find it I'll update this.)

Me on the sidewalk outside Central Park. This was taken on our fourth day in New York when it had
finally stopped snowing!!
Central Park was beautiful!!! Although we loved New York, up until then Sandra and I couldn't understand
how people could actualy live there. But if you need to get away from all the skyscrapers Central Park is
an awesome place to go - and it's HUGE!

The Observatory in Central Park. I thought it was pretty.
And of course I had to get the US flag in the pic!

Isn't it just so picturesque!! We had this whole loooong queue of carriages go by. It was so cute!
Of course we couldn't afford to go on one so that's just some arb person in the carriage!
