G upon return, Veteran of the Vicksburg & East Kentucky (Knoxville) Campaigns, discharged 29 July 1863, his unit was a 9 month regiment; served as Post 4 Commander 1884; assisted William F. Hutchinson with formation of the Post; born , died , buried .
