November 2002 - Report on Resende FBC Youth Trip to Minas Geralis

Purpose of this web page:

What is the purpose of this web page? I have always been amazed when I watch Billy Graham Crusades - his message is simple, yet individuals respond by the thousands. What is the secret? Why does it happen that way? Is it Dr. Graham's message? Is it a convincing message that everyone will automatically respond to? Well, I am not sure - but I have a theory. I have a lot of respect for Dr. Billy Graham. In our presentations, we use a tract that was developed by him. Dr. Graham is capable of delivering deep, theological messages, but he doesn't. His crusade messages are simple - very simple. So, why do so many folks respond?
I believe that it is because of the planning, preparation and prayer that goes into the crusades. For many months before each crusade, thousands of prayers for the crusade are voiced. There are months of planning and preparation.
Thus, the purpose of this web page. This is an attempt to help organize the plans, preparation and prayer for the upcoming trip.
We realize that many will pray for this crusade - however, those prayers can be so much more effective if those prayers are specific. In this web page, you will be able to get details about the trip, see pictures of the participants and enter comments in the guestbook.
