| Monday, 11-15-04 Hey everyone, it's Monday Morning, I just got back from the Debate trip about 6 hours ago. I had a lot of fun on that trip, though I wish we could have had more time in Juneau doing non-debate stuff. I did get to see some of my friends, Anna and Jessie, and meet some new ones, Brittany and Amanda. Of course I also got to see my Drama/Debate friends from Haines and Ketchikan. In the meet, my partner, Brandon, and I placed second again. Technically, we should have gotten first, but I won't go into that. Como se va, se va. Mitch and I are thinking about going to the next meet as partners but screwing with everyone. We have a few ideas, such as: 1. I dress in all Black and only argue negative, he dresses in all White and only argues affirmative 2. During a speech, just start stripping, and see how the judge (usually an old lady) reacts. There are a few more, but in the interest of keeping this site, PG, I'll save those for later. The Tsunami video crew will be putting on a dance for the middle school again this Friday Nov. 19th. Anyone else think it's strange that the middle school kids get to have 3 times as many dances as the High School? What kind of sense does that make? Pretty soon the elementary school will pass us up. Last weekend at the video room, they set up an 8 player Halo 2 game with a large screen projection system. I hear it was pretty sweet. I, myself, never really got into that game much. Parting thought: "If there's nothing you can do about it, save yourself the stress, don't worry about it." |
