Happy Gators	100,000-1	I just don’t like this team! The Twins ps Liriano’s arm is held together with string and duct tape and they will get smacked around more than Tina Turner when Ike was high every day! Pedroia is nice but Joe has been taking the same guys for 10 years! Dye, Jones…old and injury risks! Terrible SS, weak C and no depth means the RIFGFBL will save postage and handling this year, because the trophy aint going to Florida!
Henry's Backyard Machine	50,000-1	Poor Henry! Between work, a baby, basketball season ending, baseball season beginning we can’t be surprised his team suck! He is a busy man! Where did it all go wrong? After making a good trade for 2 protections, a good PS and a good 1^st pick, it turned ugly! Hardy is nice, Either and Fielder are OK and the rest is bad! Platoon players, bad players and overall I see a finish at the bottom of the NL Least!
Bush League Bombers	25,000-1	For a team with no picks, he managed to piece together a decent team. Key word, decent! Great ps in the Diamondbacks, solid protections in Braun and Soto but with no picks, he needs to get lucky, hustle or both. Weak 1b, 2b and depth, but we know DeMeo will break open the checkbook and spend some dough to win! After all, he is the Hal Steinbrenner if the RIFGFBL!
Cyclones	10,000-1	Chris usually is one of the strongest drafters in the league, but not sure he was on his game tonight! I think it started bad with the Phillies ps, took a turn for the worst when he drafted the wrong Murphy in the 1^st rd! He recovered and has some depth, but had a lot of question marks and a weak staff…..all adds up to a middle of the pack finish for the Cyclones.
Vintage Vinyl	5,000-1	What happened to the Bob we all know and love who comes every year, drafts a bad team and then loses? It started off good….protected the 2 high guys and then drafted a crappy ps in the As. But then things got crazy….he made good pick after good pick! No scrubs, no minor leaguers….whats going on? The A’s stink though, but if they are decent, this team is a contender!
The Unknowns	5,000-1	A quote from last year which proved to be prophetic, “Solid, if unspectacular draft, but watch out if Shane gets his finger on the pulse of this league this year! He is a dangerous owner who will shake and move with the best of them!” And he did all the way to the playoffs! Weak at C and 3B and staff is a big question mark. Colon and Contreas are the key. We all know him and Kevyy(see below) will be trading partners all year, which could be a good thing or bad!
Rented Mule	5,000-1	Kevvy tried something different this year, he had picks! He did waste some, but nothing was worse than the ps pick! Over/Under with the Mariners is 1 week! Any takers? Weak SS and 3B and don’t like some of the OF but solid everywhere else. If he makes the right trades with the man above, he may be OK and a playoff contender!
Zoo Keepers	1,000-1	Helped by the fact he is in the NL Least, he may have a shot at the playoffs. But the question is, will Scotty disappear during the season like he did the last 4 months? Is his hibernation truly over? If not, this team is toast! It does need some tweaking and has a big ? with is ps! Could be solid, could be terrible….wouldn’t be surprised either way. Lineup is questionable depending on who he can play….he better try and trade with the 2 guys above since his yearlong trade embargo with the YJ isn’t over yet!
Fighting Polocks	500-1	Bringing a lady to the draft…..think that may be a RIFGFBL first! I predict a fine from our new kangaroo court czar, but if it changes the luck, it is $1 well spent! Great ps, solid 1^st rd pick and when A-Rod comes back, the Cubs and he will win him a few games by himself. The questions are, will Stan make some more moves this year if all those questionable players struggle? Is his partner a silent partner or does she have the power to trade and acquire players? Maybe she will be the difference!
Italian Stallions	100-1	You just know the defending champ does not like his division! Started bad with the 12^th pick in the draft, but getting SF could be like the BLB getting Toronto last year……it may just work out! Typical Moretti draft….no mistakes, solid at all positions but not glaring strengths either. Didn’t have any great protections and also was missing some picks, so left the defending champ in a little bit of a quandary. I think the AL gets 3 teams in the playoffs and the IS are one of them…..he will tweak just enough to get it done!
Rotonda Rugrats	25-1	In the right division, solid staff and a great protection in A. Jones and Tex should be solid. Lineup definitely has some weaknesses (SS, 3B and OF come to mind!) but in the NL Least, he should be in the playoffs and we all know anything can happen in the playoffs!
Yellowjackets	4-1	How about we try 4-1 this year?! 10 straight years in the playoffs for the YJ and 11 is a REAL possibility (I never have to change that line....it is so easy to write my projections!) I could hear the groan when Justin reached in the hat and picked out the #1 pick in the ps draft. (It seems like we never have to change that line anymore either!!) You can’t give the team with all the picks the #1 pick in the ps draft! The Red Sox are the #1 ps protected 2 young studs that are top 5 at their position (Martinez and Upton) and still had plenty of picks to draft an extremely solid team with proven veterans, up and coming stars and absolutely NO WEAKNESSES!! Depth, young stars and quality vets lead this well balanced team. The team that has to take everyone's best shot week to week is ready for another year of bobbing and weaving and throwing some haymakers of my own. My prediction.....YJ knocks out the competition all year and wins the championship! I never have to change my predictions!!

Thunderbolts	100,000-1	Not being at the draft hurt! I question the strategy of protecting 2 studs at their position and then surrounding them with crap since it doesn't seem to EVER work!! Very weak bench, questionable staff and an owner who has been quiet with trades and transactions the last couple of years has me worried about the TB! This could be a decent team with a couple of trades with the YJ and some waiver wire moves but........will that happen?
Fighting Polocks	100,000-1	See above on protecting studs and surrounding with crap! 2-3 guys who could be in the minors in a week, 2-3 guys who could be on the DL in a week and 2-3 guys who may platoon. I aint good in math, but that adds up to a lot of bad guys! FP has been a quiet owner as well....if the team begins to crumble, will he hop aboard the trade and transaction train and start making moves? I think he will have no choice!
The Unknowns	50,000-1	T Wiggington? Really? OK, in fairness to Shane, the over/under for new owners having success in this league is 3 years(4 for the BLB!!) and most owners go over! So he is behind the 8 ball there. Cincinnati Reds? Really? Hmm, not so sure about them either! Solid, if unspectacular draft, but watch out if Shane gets his finger on the pulse of this league this year! He is a dangerous owner who will shake and move with the best of them!
Rented Mule	50,000-1	This team is a perfect example of what happens when you don't have picks........remember kids, trading draft picks is bad!! Hey, I typed this last year for Scott but it seems to really be applicable to Kevvy this year! 1 pick in the first 5 rds? Not so good! And then you take a washed up, steroid using, SS who cant use steroids anymore? Not so good!! 1 crappy C, 2 crappy 2b, 2 Pirates and a crappy OF surrounded by garbage! Throw in a over hyped ps and you can see why 50,000-1 is generous. Any other owner may have the dreaded 500,000-1 tag placed on them but I know Kevvy will go see the good dr. to fix his team.....Dr. YJ that is!!
Bush League Bombers	10,000-1	The ps gods were unkind as they dealt the owner with the worst overall win% a 12. They showed some mercy and compassion when Toronto fell to them at 12....not a bad staff at 12! This team has decent written all over it... and has the potential to be good if Soto, Glaus and Garko have good years. Best case scenario is this is the year DeMeo puts it all together, makes the playoffs, and then loses in the first round to a superior YJ team!! Worst case scenario.....4 wins!! My prediction, somewhere in the middle unless we see some of that DeMeo magic that we see when he his coaching basketball!
Happy Gators	1000-1	The fantasy gods are kind one year(2007 when he got both #1s) and not so kind the next(11 and 9). That will make all the difference in the world! A staff (Yankees) that will take more hits than a porno star does in her entire career is just the beginning of Joe's problems. Weak C, a 2b with anal fissure, and an old, crappy OF have this team's chances of defending the title as good as Joe's is of getting to take a shot at that porno star!!
Zoo Keepers	750-1	2 solid protections as long as the sophomore slump theory doesn't apply...(Remember E. Hinske, B. Grieve...I sure do!!). Decent staff, although I think he could have done better to take the staff who took him to the promised land last year(Indians). Team needs some work, but owner Scotty Too Hotty will get it done and turn his crap into a 5th/6th place team!
HBYM	500-1	Solid team, solid ps should equal solid season BUT having a baby in the middle of the season for the one guy who gets nervous brushing his teeth (wait, he doesn't do that!) all adds to a funky situation! Sadly for Henry, he cant call 911 BUT he can call the Dr. YJ, who of course will help him out for a small pick or 2!! Just dont call Dr. YJ when the kid is coming.....I aint that kind of Dr!
Italian Stallions	500-1	Decent team + good ps + weak division = playoffs!! And then a quick exit! HAHA! Weak at C, OF and 2b and SS are questionable. Owner Jim Moretti will tweak and make just enough moves to hustle in the playoffs.
Cyclones	25-1	This team has a chance. If the ps is as good as advertised, and that is a big if with Haren switching leagues and Johnson older than dirt, the there chances just got much better! Solid draft as always.....we miss the old Chris who made every pick exciting! This Chris just picks a quality team every year now.....what fun is that? No glaring weaknesses except maybe the OF, which is easily fixable with a simple IM or call to the Dr!! The later time change for lineups, along with having access to Kevvy at work all the time should help Chris get over the top and return to the playoffs.
Rotonda Rugrats	25-1	I like this team! Great ps falls to 6, solid 1st rd picks, and if Bourne is a player, this team will be REAL tough! I see 2 weaknesses and 2B) but wasn't flustered by the technology problems he encountered at the draft! A wily veteran like JT will be ready for any and all problems that the fantasy season throws at him.
Yellowjackets	1.5-1	9 straight years in the playoffs for the YJ and 10 is a REAL possibility (I never have to change that line....it is so easy to write my projections!) I could hear the groan when Justin reached in the hat and picked out the #1 pick in the ps draft.I even heard Joe starting wrapping the trophy and sent it to back to RI already!! You cant give the team with all the picks the #1 pick in the ps draft! At the very worst, the Red Sox will be solid, protected 2 young studs who are #1 at their position (Martinez and Upton) and still had plenty of picks to draft an extremely solid team with proven veterans, up and coming stars and absolutely NO WEAKNESSES!! Depth, 3 guys who play more than 1 position, young stars and quality vets lead this well balanced team. The team that has to take everyone's best shot week to week is ready for another year of bobbing and weaving and throwing some haymakers of my own. My prediction.....YJ knocks out the competition all year and wins the championship!

A couple of platoon players drafted early, a questionable staff and a very weak bench is a recipe for disaster! I think Stan will be dancing to Bruce Springsteen's classic hit, "Glory Days" next week at the dance contest!
Rented Mule	50,000-1	I say the over/under for Kevvy's bill for this year will be $300 with this team. This is a Kevvy special..........a team that needs a LOT of work! I see 1 good player (Howard), 1 decent staff (Red Sox) and 14 guys waiting to be cut or traded. Oh wait, make that 13. One is already gone! What a surprise, Kevvy made the first move this year!
Zoo Keepers	40,000-1	See above notes except replace Howard with Hafner and forget the part about a decent ps! This team is a perfect example of what happens when you don't have picks........remember kids, trading draft picks is bad, especially when you have a garbage formula to draft players!! why 40,000-1? Perhaps his impending 40th birthday is the reason why he was too depressed to do his research!
Henry's Backyard Machine	10,000-1	I think Henry was in a coma! Starts off by putting his protections on 2 pieces of paper. Then he keeps asking the prices of players drafted....shouldn't YOU know the general price of a player drafted? I watched a lot of NYPD Blue and I deduce that you didn't do your homework!! Lets look at your team......yup, I is correct!! A team filled with #7 hitters and an overpriced staff. Add that to the fact he will be stressed out from his life and that means a long season for our little buddy Henry!
The Sprucesters	5,000-1	The question LAST YEAR was-Is Scott "Casper, the friendly ghost" an asset or a hindrance at the draft? This year we will definitely find out the answer. Last year's team disappointed and, as the projections stated, we never heard from Scott again. This year, he was a man by himself as co-owner Ryan Errico was in the championship against Mary's Orphanage for the blind and crippled. Congrats on wining the state championship! As for the team, weak ps(A's) and good players (Hall, Thomas, Sizemore, Jones) sprinkled in with bad picks (Uggla #1, M. Murton, S. Stewart) S. Stewart? Wait, that is Joe's bitch.....the baseball gods will punish you for drafting him!
Italian Stallion	1000-1	Last year's projections-" Owner Jim Moretti has his pulse on this league now and it showed in this draft. They say the magic number age for MLB players is 27, but for RIFGFBL owners it is 4 years!" He was in the finals. Can I predict or what? Now for this year....good staff, especially at 9. But the rest of the team is questionable.....protecting an expensive hitter batting 8th(Cano), some cheap question marks that have to play and a weak bench = an owner who will need to hustle to get back to the playoffs. Time to commence the hustling!
Bush League Bombers	750-1	Owner Steve DeMeo keeps moving on up with the odds each year.......is this the year he breaks through? I still think he is 1 year away, especially if he is concentrating on softball, live odds and loose women! Good pre-draft moves getting 2 good protections (Martinez and Kendrick), a solid if unspectacular, draft and a questionable ps that could be great or awful! A weak bench and an owner who has a history of not making moves could doom the team!
Rotonda Rugrats	500-1	As his Florida buddy said "he must have been out in the sun too long today!" Why would he say that........hmm, maybe because he drafted the Rangers ps with the 6th pick in the draft!! Are you kidding? Although JT's hearing didn't recover during the draft, his drafting skills did! He has a very solid team and bench surrounded by a weak ps, a fixable problem. JT, as always, will be a threat to be there in the end.
Happy Gators	500-1	It is too early to tell, but so far, the name change brought him VERY good luck. The #1 pick in the ps draft (Tigers), the #1 pick in the regular draft (S. Drew) and a pretty solid draft after that has owner Joe T thinking of holding the championship trophy once again!
Thunderbolts	250-1	I believe this is the highest projection ever for owner Bob Ferris. This team is only a trade or 2 away with the Yellowjackets from being a World Series contender! I think the difference was taking time with the picks! A solid ps, 2 of the best at their positions (Pujous and Utley), some solid young players and a strong bench could have the Thunderbolts in the playoffs for the first time since..........wait, is that for the first time ever?
Cyclones	25-1	Very strong team and an owner that will most likely not screw it up. This team will prove that Chris is an owner that can draft and win the championhip, take over a team in mid-season and get them to the playoffs and is overall a very strong owner. A good ps, especially drafting at #10(Blue Jays), 2 solid protections (Ortiz and Ramirez), a great #1 pick (Weeks) and followed that up with a very solid draft. If the young guys produce (Ianetta, Young and Quentin), will be in the running to the end.
Yellowjackets	2-1	8 straight years in the playoffs for the YJ and 9 is a REAL possibility (I never have to change that line....it is so easy to write my projections!) Drafted a very solid ps (White Sox), protected 2 young studs who are #1 at their position (Mauer and Atkins) and still had plenty of picks to draft an extremely solid team with proven veterans. Many studs (C. Lee, M. Young) to go with some bargains (Youkalis,Vidro, Ordonez, Markakis, Overbay). The team that everyone loves to beat will be a tough out this year! I predict the Yellowjackets will follow their basketball Falcons and win the championship!

Fighting Polocks	1,000,000-1	Wow, this is a monumental fall! This reminds me of Davis Love who was winning after Rd 1 of the TPC and then shot an 9 on the last hole to miss the cut. Stan missed the cut with his list! He got most of his first choices, but they all STINK! Kansas City Royals 1st? G. Zaun?
HBYM	25,000-1	Plummeting career record and an owner that has been distracted the last few years is a bad combination. Add that to the fact he coaches baseball, is in love and it is a recipe for disaster! Speaking of disaster, what was up with that draft? D. Young in the 4th rd? If you are going to waste picks like that, you mine as well trade them to me now!! Injury possibilities throughout this team and a overrated ps which I predict will be an early cut equals another long season for HBYM! Start your football research now!
Sunshine Seniors	10,000-1	At 10K-1, we have our 2 phone draftees. First up are the SS, who have too many question marks.....2b, SS and the OF all look like weaknesses while the ps (Red Sox) drive Joe crazy with the 10-8 wins!!
Mayfair Maulers	10,000-1	A new name but an unproven career record with a questionable staff (Nationals) has them at 10K-1. If the staff comes through, which it could, this could be a strong team.
The Sprucesters	5,000-1	The question is, is Scott "Casper, the friendly ghost" an asset or a hindrance at the draft? We will not hear from him again, a weak draft but who is to blame? V. Guererro #1? A weak and questionable IF combined with an owner getting married is not so good for the fantasy team!!
Cyclones	1,000-1	Now that we got rid of the bi-polar owner and we have a returning champion back, the odds go up big time!!
Bush League Bombers	999-1	Good pre-draft moves getting 2 good protections, solid draft and a questionable ps have the odds a hair under 1,000-1!!!. Owner Steve DeMeo is the big question mark.....if I knew he would follow the league and his team for 23 weeks, make moves, the odds would be higher! We will see if he has learned from his rookie mistakes or if his evilness will occupy too much of his time!
Zoo Keepers	500-1	Did well too hustle and get some picks, but there are many questions on this team. Will the LAA Angels be worth the salary? Nomar as the #2 overall pick? Holy picking with your heart, batman!! You cant tell me your formula had him as the #2 pick!! A weak C and a very weak OF spells bad news for the ZK! The odds are only this high because I know owner Scott Morrison will be calling me for some of my quality players!
Rented Mule	424-1	A solid ps surrounded by garbage! The only reason the odds aren't higher is for the comedic value of 424!! No C, injury risks everywhere and a weak OF!! The only good thing is we know that Kevvy will make some moves to get his team better...........or worse, if possible!!
Italian Stallion	100-1	2 years ago, Ensberg was the # 1 pick in the draft as a platoon player! This year, the IS got them later and he is a solid player. Owner Jim Moretti has his pulse on this league now and i t showed in this draft. They say the magic number age for MLB players is 27, but for RIFGFBL owners it is 4 years! Solid draft and ps. Questions are the rookies and lack of depth on the bench.
Rotonda Rugrats	25-1	Had 2 good value players to protect and drafted a strong team around those protections. If the Blue Jays ps can come through, this team can be tough. He is a strong drafter and an excellent cook, which is good because he stinks as a telephone operator!!
Yellowjackets	2-1	7 straight years in the playoffs for the YJ and 8 is a REAL possibility. Moved up to get a very solid ps (As) and still had enough picks to draft an extremely solid team with proven veterans. Many studs (Lee, Ramirez, Helton) to go with some bargains (Molina, Vidro, Ordonez, Crosby). The team that everyone loves to beat will be a tough out this year! I predict the Yellowjackets will follow their basketball Falcons and win the championship!
