Wonders & LOLS
(1)  31-29 LOLS
(2)  31-21 WONDERS
(3)  36-15 WONDERS

Angelwolf, Athena, EIM, Gertsee, Hoov, Keycat, Libra, Sadie and a brief appearance by Angelbel (Who got out of her sick bed to cheer us on to victory and it worked!!)

MVP  Hoov - Athena - Libra!!

We started off with NBA teams and we were up 6-3 after the 1st cat.  Next came things from the movie Animal House, we kept our lead bringing the score to 8 - 6.  Cher Songs - a double point round - gave the LOLers the lead 16-12.  Things associated with Cricket was up next and we were behind by 5.  We tied it up 21-21 with Ontario Cities but the LOLers pulled ahead once again 26-24 with Shakespearean Characters.  We narrowed their lead to one point, 29-28 with Horror Movies.  It was anybody's game.  We prayed for an easy cat.  Types of Bags was the cat and you would think it would have been an easy one.  Only 3 points were scored in total.  The LOLs won game one 31-29.

The LOLS kept up the momentum in game two and took a 6-2 lead with words and phrases heard in a courtroom.  We did well in the Janet Jackson Songs cat bringing the score to 9 - 8.  Stephen King Works was next, another double point round and we stole the lead 22 - 13.  We kept the lead25-18 with movements in art and won the game with the Gone with the Wind cat, 31-21.

We took an early lead in game 3 and never looked back.  The first cat - yet another double point cat - Water put us ahead 10-6.  Aretha Franklin Songs was next bringing the score to 14-11.  Julie Garwood Books was next (another double point round) and we increased our lead to 24-13.  We know our phobias and Australian cities and we won game three 26-15.

Great Game Everyone.

I was almost thrown by the early game tonight, while I was fartin' around in ABC, I got a whisper from Athena saying it was game time and I was like holy cow!  What a sport.

Well, for game one we started out slow, only to take a big lead on Cher songs and although the Wonders tied it on Ontario cities, we kept our momentum going and won the first 31-29.

When Bob & Jeeper switched places, since they share computers, we had a slight disadvantage there, but honk showed up then, so that made things better.  We started off with a lead on court terms, but they got back at us on the Stephen King cat.  Personally when I hear Stephen King I think IT and Misery, not "creepshow", but oh well.  They went on to win on Gone With The Wind stuff.

In the final game, Jeeper won the coin toss.  We managed to stay within striking distance until Julie Garwood, a double pointer that they swept 5-1.  Phobias had us running scared with a 15-29 deficit, and on Aussie cities they carried it to a win 36-18.  Nice try LOLers, great game Wonders, blah blah blah!  Okay, time for a cruise.  See ya!!

(MVP)  WHOLE SLOBBERING RAT PACK

The RAT PACK came into this game full strength and flex their slobber muscles.  The SIX PACKERS put up a heck of a fight but the RATS werent to be denied.  The game opened up with and abbott and costello match (we all know the rats love slapstick comedy) and the rats opened a small but comfy lead. We finished off those tough hard-nosed SIXPACKERS 35-18.  The second game opened with green vegies (we know RATS eat/slobber on anything green and smelly. The lead was expanded when small countries was announced, and all we had to do was name our old slobbering grounds, final score 31-17.  We would like to thank NITE for monitoring this hard-fought contest.  For now, this is your drooling reporting signing off until the next SLOBBER-KNOCKER!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll keep this report brief because the wounds are still fresh.  I've said in numerous previous reports that ATTENDANCE IS KEY!  Tonight, we were outnumbered ultimately 14-7 against the best team in the league, so our cards were stacked against us.  Neither game was kept close for very long, and we lost, 35-18 and 31-17.  csquaredaz was once again named MVP, and tonight I would say tonight that that's like being named MVP of the LA Clippers, but I would be totally kidding because we have had a great season and the people who have been showing up regularly have been giving a great effort, as is shown by our record.  A hearty WTG RATS!  And woohoo go Sixers!  Let's buckle down and make the playoffs!  Which would be dandy since we had a terrible record last season.  Did I say I was keeping this brief?  Oh well.
