Six Pack took the lead in the first game with Asian Airlines, 5-4.  They lead the whole game, but thought we might have a chance to tie it with Bon Jovi(our tribute to JF)LOL.  We did come close 31-29, with Koontz novels. 
Six Pack did basically the same thing in the second game.  No need to go into details, LOL.
I guess we are NOT morning people. LOL.  Final score for game #2....26-38, in a double point round, Sci Fi Movies. 
Great Game Six Pack....It was fun!!!

Talk about close, this was definitely a nail-biter.  Fourplay definitely needed two more sessions to show us that they're not the pushovers we once thought they were!

In game one, they led ahead of us by one point for 3 rounds straight until spiders, where they about swept it up and then finished us off on Led Zep songs.

At the beginning of game 2, yours truly was booted, and by the time I got back it was 18-12 LOLers.  We went on to hold the lead, and in the final round, Fourplay had a superb round  I honestly thought they had won but I wasn't keeping track, our lead was big enough that we were able to slide by 30-29.

So in the 3rd game, Fourplay took a monstrous lead until we were able to sweep the Nutrition Facts cat, tying the game at 15.  This tie continued through the following four cats until finally, at 27 27, vi broke it with a single score on a double point European Soccer cat, making the score 29-27 Fourplay  if not for that score, we would have still been tied after the following cat, Sports Equipment, which we split 5-5, so Fourplay won 34-32.  Great games everyone!  Wonder who's going back to sleep?

Great match this morning, made even better by the fact that we won lol.  The first game, I think the bot has been planning a vacation, because the first 3 cats were Overseas Airlines, American and Overseas Airlines, and Airports.  One track mind, that bot.  We came out out those cats 18-7.  About this time I turned to cheerleading mode because I was no help at all.  Obviously being cocaptain has little to do with talent.  Wonders closed the gap quickly, but we squeaked it out, 31-29.

All season Six-Pack has been really skilled (lucky) with double point rounds, and this morning was more of the same.  We took a 12-8 lead on Double Point Monopoly® Properties, widened our lead throughout, and won 38-26 on a Double Pt Scifi Show cat. Everyone on the team contributed, but csquaredaz clearly made the difference for us, and he was voted team MVP unanimously.  WTG SIX PACK!!!!  Time to get back to our winning ways!  And great match Wonders!!

It took me a while to get into Talkcity...through yet another entrance!  One of these days, I will get this new IRC thing down.  This saturday game started out with very slim pickin's with only strawsmom and myself playing against a few more Lizards. Thank God Ev joined us shortly.  Finally, Dutchlace and MissG came aboard to help us pull of a difficult win in the first game.  The first 6 or 7 categories had the Lizards in the lead. The next to the last cat of Baby things brought the Rats into the lead with a grand SWEEP and score of 28-26! The last cat of NFL starting quarterbacks brought only 2 points (winning ones) from us Rats, giving us the game.  Game 2 had us Rats in the lead throughout.  Some of the cats were things w/ numbers on them, 3 letter palidromes, Ancient warriors (one of my favs!), Places with Colors, and the last one of Julia Roberts films.  Thanks for the memories Lizards!

Well, let me just say I woke my bootie up at 8am for this game, so the only thing I remember is winning the first game on a led zep category lol.  In the second game, LOLs pretty much dominated as we tried to make a comeback at the end, but couldn't make it.  The third game was a bit more intense, as we were tied for about four rounds until double point Europe soccer teams when vi was the only one to get points, then after that, Fourplay nabbed the win with sports equipment.

It was an early morning game today and the Raiders were up and ready to play.  The Rocks that did manage to get out of bed for this one slept through the first couple of rounds.  The Raiders took a commanding lead and the Rocks weren't able to muster a comeback.  The Rocks hung in there through most of the second game but still couldn't catch the Raiders.  Bot prolonged the game with three champ rounds and the Rocks were hoping this would stop the Raiders momentum.  No such luck.  Congratulations Raiders.

We Liz^ards held the lead in the first game until the very end.  We couldn't score a point for the last 2 rounds.  The second game went by quickly, with the Rats holding the lead for the entire game.

well 8 raiders showing up for a 9 am saturday game had to be a record.    we outnumbered the rocks and that was the difference in the scores. wtg to our newbie rowan36 on mvp and a special salute to our other newbie fav7thson who did make the raider room after the game.   i know if i lived on the west coast i would never make a 6 am saturday game.   good game rocks
