I have compiled a lot of the information on these pages from MANY MANY websites over MANY MANY months+ of searching and compiling.  I meant only to help by "stealing" this information, and hope only that it helps some more people by getting it all in one place.  Put this information on your website if you don't have it already!  Change it if its incorrect, but please get the info out there!

- The Turbo I is the first turbocharged engine Chrysler used with only four cylinders.   - Introduced in 1984

Ended in about 1993

1984 - 2.2L (135 ci) w/ mechanically controlled wastegate set for 7 psi of boost

1985 - Computer controlled wastegate, Peak boost limit was also added (10 cumulative seconds per WOT application(s), one second added to "clock" for ever one not used up to 10 seconds.)  146HP@5200rpm & 168ft/lbs.@3600rpm

1988 - New intake manifold used, TII style, but displacement still 2.2L

19892.5L (153ci) "commonblock," Peak boost = 11 psi, 150hp@4800rpm & 180 ft/lbs@2000rpm

1991 - 2.2L TII dropped from production, TI gets:  1.  Aggressive Fuel/Spark Curves, Higher/More aggressive Boost curve, Torque peak raised to 210ft/lbs (w/ manual trans, autos still had 180 ft/lbs.)
