The Grand Mosquée
A popular attraction in Bobo-Dioulasso is the famous earthen Grande Mosquée surrounded by the mud houses of the Kibidoué and Sya old quarters. Built in 1880 it is an excellent example of Sudanese mud architecture. Its pointed cylindrical minarets bristling with posts and the walls' sugar loaf buttresses are made out of laterite. ....Click to see Muslim garb
