Dollo Drinker's Paradise

A poplular pastime at the village level is passing the time at the local cabarets. Cabarets provide social circles at family compounds where, once thoughtfully settled in the shade of a baobab or mango tree, villagers buy calabashes of dollo, a millet "beer" that takes three days to prepare. A popular accompaniment to drinking dollo is eating pieces of dog meat dipped in spices, a wonderful tasting treat.
