Autograph Terms
- ALS: Autograph (handwritten) Letter Signed.
- ANS: ANS Autograph (handwritten) Note Signed.
- Autopen: Autopen Signature in written on by a machine. A lot of celebrities have these now. To find out if they use an autopen machine you would have you get a few photos of the same person and compare them.
- B&W: Black And White Photo.
- C: Color Photo.
- CSP: Colour Signed Photo.
- DS: Document Signed.
- IC/SIC: Signed Index Card.
- IP: In Person Autograph.
- IRC: International Reply Coupon. These are used when requesting autographs outside across the water e.g. England to U.S.A. You put them inside of your request to cover the cost of postage back to you. Purchase them at your post office.
- ISP: Inscribed signed photo.
- ISIC: Inscribed Signed Index Card.
- ITC: Inscribed Trading Card.
- P: Photo (no signature).
- PP/Facsimile: Pre Print. Signature has been duplicated onto many photos. The signature is part of the photo, not on the surface. Often photocopied.
- RTS: Return To Sender. Unable to forward, refused, incomplete address etc.
- SAE: Self Addressed Envelope (not stamped).
- SASE: Self Addressed Stamped Envelope.
- SC: Signed Card.
- SIC: Signed Index Card.
- SP: Signed Photo.
- TC: Trading Card.
- TCS: Trading Card Signed.
- TLS: Typed Letter Signed.
- TTM: Through The Mail.
- SP: Signed Photo.
- VV: Via Venue.
