Autograph Sessions If you are going to an autograph session remember these tips:-
- When going to an autograph convention or a celebrity signing take some money to buy some food or possibly a celebrity photo. Some sessions you have to pay for the photo while others you don't.
- Bring a friend or a member of the family so that you have someone to talk to or that you don't lose your place. Even try to get to know the people in the queue.
- Arrive at the autograph session early enough so you can get into the queue before the autograph session starts. Celebrities tend to attract lots and lots of people to the autograph session. The earlier you arrive, the greater your chances are at getting an autograph.
- Take a photo of the celebrity with you to get signed. Some events are not intended to be autographs - the celebrity could just be making an appearance. In that kind of event there probably won't be any photos. If you don't have a nice glossy photo or some other item, search for photos on the internet and print up a photo you like of the celebrity. Try looking for fan sites of the celebrity as they will have plenty of photos.
- When you are meeting the celebrity be nice and polite. Don't ask for anymore than two items to be signed. Also don't spend a lot of time chatting to the celebrity. Remember there are other people waiting to get the celebrity's autograph
- Always be polite! Thank the celebrity after they sign your items.
Taking Pictures with the Celebrity
- Do not be greedy. There are other people waiting to pose with the celebrity for their own pictures. We recommend no more than 3 pictures with you and the celebrity.
- Go to the side take pictures of the celebrity so that you have a few extra photos.
- Make sure the camera has a flash on it if you are going to take pictures.
