A cheetah is a very powerful animal. This animal is very fast and it is also a carnivore. It's teeth are aligned one near the other. It's canines are pretty big they are like the canines that a lion has. A cheetah has a very muscular legs. they have skinny legs but strong. they have pretty big legs to run fast and catch their preys.

A cheetah is known as the fastest land creature on earth so far. It is in the cat family. This creature resembles to a tiger but it is more thin, it is a lot faster than a tiger and also it has dots instead of stripes. Did you know that the name cheetah comes from a hindi word meaning the spotted one? They are the colour of yellowish brown.

A female cheetah and a male cheetah get together only if they are going to mate. A female cheetah is the one that raises her cubs alone. They male is the one who is doing the catching the prey for the family to eat, but the dad eats and then the babies and the mother.

An adult cheetah is pretty light they weigh about 80 to 140 pounds. The males are more larger than the females. At the age of 23 months they reach their sexual maturity and they leave their brothers, sisters and parents if they are still with them and then they go on their own to find a male. A  wild radio collard female cheetah has a life span of 6.9 years but in captivity a wild radio collard female cheetah had a life span of 11.7 years of age.
