| This local university is located right in the heart of the city. Pro: Spanish language classes are available here. Con: The classroom is on the eighth floor and there is no elevator! Great exercise though. Check out their website. |

| CULTURAL CENTER OF GUANAJUATO |
| A variety of crafts and musical classes are offered here, along with art exhibits. The center is located on Cinco de Mayo off Juarez. It is a double wooden door tucked in a corner. Classes and community information are usually posted inside the entrance. Pro: There is an English language honor library on the second floor up the stairs by the entrance. Con: Classes are in Spanish. |

| Spanish language schools are widely available. Everyone has his/her favorite school or teacher. Currently classes average about 50 -60 pesos per hour One of the local favorites is Nuestros Mundos with Carolina located above Plaza Mexiamora in Centro. Another popular one is Falcon on the Presa. |
