The Three Architecturally Inclined Piggies

Three young pigs set off to find their fortune in the world. All three had a variety of skills of varying expertise and were eager to apply themselves. The first task that was set before them: to find shelter, preferably homes that met their spatial requirements.

The first pig built his house of straw. Straw bales found only on an organic farm. After applying stucco, the house proved to not only be significantly fiscally sound, but structurally sound as well. The added self-sustaining benefits of not requiring major heating or cooling while facing both the direct south and west light was also a boon.

The second pig built his house of sticks, but not from old forest growth and only from a lumber distributor who was responsible for the same number trees they cut down every year. While fairly conventional in design, this home did feature some smart technology, with sensors in every room to determine the ideal temperature and amount of artificial lights.

The third pig built his house in stone. In order to create a varied texture palate on his hillside home, he also used locally quarried stones. The contractor also employed union workers. So while the house was significantly complicated by the unusual curvatures and light meters carved from stone, the local economy thrived.

After extensive inspections, including the very strict Huff and Puff Test, the three pigs were happy that each of their homes passed. They then employed a local realator to cash in on the housing shortage. All three homes sold in the matter of days to the highest bidders. The end result had the little pigs then investing their money in a large real estate conglomerate who was impressed with their work. All three little pigs are living high on the hog today, and enjoying life contributing to society and working on ways to make stunning housing more affordable for all little pigs willing to work a little.
