Mirror, Mirror
by Riley Hall
Some things aren't what they seem, even in a mirror.
Prologue
"The fog hissed away like a movie,
And serpents go home for the night.
The thundercloud rain hits the freeway.
The clowns put on makeup for show.

The nightfall, my skin crawl kind of evening
.
And how the wind she blows.
How the wind she blows."
-Blue October, Come in Closer

WARNING:

This is unedited material folks. So while I spell check as often as possible, there are bound to be typos. I'm sorry for this. But I
promise, I hate it more than you. So you have two options: you can tell me about typos, which is cool, it makes me happy that you're reading, and I'd really like to have it correct up here. Or you can pretend like there is and never was anything wrong. Either way, I'm happy. You are warned again...

All right, I realize that I am a jerk for not putting anything up here,or at least updating this in months, but I figured everyone has stopped checking by this time anyway. Basic news report (in case someone clicks on a link by accident): the current word count is 33,715 and slowly beginnning to grow again. I am lazy but I have started up once more, due to a new store of motivation, the desire to finish before summer's over [so I can begin something new], and the fact that I'm bored out of my mind. Unfortunately for you, though, everything I'm writing now is extremely uneditted and requires changes in the backstory, so I won't be posting anything here in the near furture. Thank you for checking and caring, or for accidently hitting the link, whichever occured is fine.  :)
Love,
Your not-so-dedicated author,
