The desires and intentions
of the Maverick Hunters, to protect mankind of the Maverick threat and
to rid the world of the Maverick network. This is the struggle that has
lasted for so long, ever since the accounts of Megaman X, Zero, and Sigma,
and has yet to be resolved. Except, suddenly, the Maverick Hunters had taken all the necessary precautions to taming the spreading of the Maverick virus and then steadily neutralized the Maverick network. Many battles were fought and, as the Maverick Hunter strategy to fighting against the Maverick forces, different Hunter units assisted one another in Maverick battles. This drastically reduced the numbers of the Hunter casualties and allowed little room for defeat, therefore the Mavericks failed in every attempt of victory. After a couple months of success in overcoming the Maverick networks and reducing them to a near 25 percent, the Maverick Hunters began to loathe in their victory. Kent, the previous head admiral of Hunter Unit #16, took a indefinite personal leave of his authority and so Aurora was given command of head admiral of Unit #16 by the Hunter Council until Kent's uncertain return. Aurora, an advocate of the Wily clone, was called to be testified before the Hunter Council after inexcusable actions. She assassinates the Hunter Council and retrieves a secret capsule, which holds the body of a legendary robot. The death of Hunter Council causes chaos among the Maverick Hunters and Hunter Council Agents, a reploid association or bureau specifically used for Hunter Council purposes (like the FBI, CIA, etc). Hunter Unit #16 was blamed for the Council assassination, causing the Council Agents to act on their own accord. Several Maverick Hunter Units sided with the Council Agents in accusing Unit #16 of the Council death, but others were strongly convinced that Unit #16 was not ones to do such carnage. Unfortunately, within the chaos between the Maverick Hunters and Council Agents, the Mavericks virus had surpassed its usual powers that influenced reploids and evolved the already infected Mavericks to new level of power. And so, exploiting their newfound powers, the Mavericks went on a full-scale assault upon the Maverick Hunter Unit #16. But deep inside the Maverick infected Unit #14 barracks, where the Wily clone hide himself, he set a goal of resurrecting the contained legendary robot that was in the capsule. And so, he did just that, once again giving the ancient robot life, the rebirth of Forte (Bass). With a quick confrontation among the two, Forte had realized his new reploid form given by the Hunter Council and accepted the gift of the Wily clone's knowledge and memory. The Wily clone had planned for it all; having Forte reach superiority in power and mind, promising Forte an army to lead among the division of Maverick Hunters, and his last set goal, the fall of Hunter Unit #16 which was a personal request of Aurora. And Aurora's request was carried out as Wily utilized the plasma-hydrogen missiles of the Hunter Unit #14 and deployed them to Unit #11, Unit #13, and Unit #16. Such devastation has never occurred in Reploid War history, as Maverick Hunter Unit #16 was completely destroyed in the onslaught of the missiles. Of the several that survived the Maverick assault, only a few had escaped the destruction of the Unit. Unit #11 and Unit #13 had received considerable damage; the buildings took low damage and some causalities. However, these actions were more than enough to alter the reploid war course forever. The Council Agents and some Maverick Hunter Units that disagreed to the original Maverick Hunter rules and ways renewed and established a past alliance, the Repliforce. The Repliforce then received the most unlikely member, the reborn Forte. It is a new day in age and the Reploid Wars has shifted to another phase. The Enemy, the advanced Mavericks, has evolved far more than a virus, but a devastating plague that has inflicted and spited the entire world's very existence. The advanced Maverick virus possesses new characteristics. One being the unique identification method that the Mavericks share with one another. In this technique, the entire eye is enveloped to an absolute black. The Maverick virus now exploits three assets of grand power. Rejuvenation; the Mavericks are capable of restoring body parts and health at will, as long as their brain is activated. Evolution; Maverick abilities such as strength, speed, and agility all surpass set power limit, which also increase with every battle. And multiply; the Maverick virus can now not only infect those with prolonged exposure, but can also infect others by sending the Maverick program through Maverick eye technique. Once the Maverick program accesses the body it attacks the mind (the Intellect) where it can possibly override the mind depending on the strength of the Maverick program that is sent from the host. For there may be only one Enemy, but there are two alliances at work to defeat the threat the Mavericks possess. Maverick Hunter Units have been split in half, one half given to the Repliforce, the other half remaining to the Hunters. Forte, although he possesses the greatest of power, doesn't lead the Repliforce, but is given the head position of the Repliforce Unit #10. As for the Hunters position, the few who had survived Unit #16's demise have been enrolled in Hunter Unit #17, Saint becoming the young leader of the Unit. And therefore, both the Maverick Hunters and the Repliforce fight the identical Enemy, the Mavericks, for a good cause. But both consider the other alliance an obstacle to overcome in order to obtain success and victory over the Enemy. On to Rules. |
