Blue Unicorn Zinfandel 1995
We expanded our production of zinfandel in 1995 with this nice red table wine.  It came out medium dry and was very drinkable...in fact Bob drank it up almost as fast as we could bottle it.

Royal Gardens Rose Petal 1995
Dave's Serbian grandmother was well know for her excellent rose petal wine.  Unfortunately no one got her recipe before she passed away in the early 1950's.  We found another recipe for this effort.  It uses a white grape wine concentrate as a base (Sauvignon Blanc) which was mixed with a "tea" made by steeping dried rose petals in boiling water.  The wine had a nice color.  The taste was similar to a german rhine wine.  But it lacked the distinctive "rose" quality we were looking for.  We'll try again some time.

Darby Valley Strawberry 1995
This was a wonderful wine.  It was made from strawberries we picked in Newark, Ohio.  It had a nice rose color and was quite dry...not what people have come to expect from a strawberry wine.  It took a 4th place at the Wine Makers Guild festival in the dry red non-grape catagory...we think it deserved more.

Darby Valley Raspberry 1995
We made this wine from a concentrate, but you would never know it.  It was a very nice tart, dry wine.  The color was brilliant and clear pale pink.  It was a favorite of people who received gift bottles from us.
