Our goals in
support of this mission are:
To
promote the development of Spanish-language and Latino/Hispanic
oriented library collections.
Support
active recruitment of bilingual and bicultural library professional
and paraprofessional staff.
Increase
Latino/Hispanic awareness of available library services
and
collections in both English and Spanish.
Advocate
on behalf of the information needs of the Latino/Hispanic community.
Provide
training and education for our members and those
interested in
serving Latinos and Spanish Speakers.
