Devotion to the City & Schools

The city and schools must maintain an ongoing, constructive partnership. Regular meetings with the Superintendent have been held throughout Mayor Sexton's term. Recently, the City, the Schools, and the Grandview/Marble Cliff Chamber worked together to present the first "Grandview Intiative". Such cooperative endeavors must continue to ensure the strength and viability of our city.

The citizen advisory groups have included: The Mayor's Advisory Council, The Goodale Re-Development Committe, The Committee to Study the Flood Plain Issue, The Student Advisory Committee, and the Bridge Builders Program. Including the community in important decisions is key to the success of any program.
