Moses in the Eyes of Christians
The importance of Moses' life being saved goes far beyond a mother's love.  Her loving act proved to be vital to the wide-spread of Christianity.  God had to have a human, someone that the Hebrews could relate to and trust, in order to show his chosen people he is the king of all kings.  Moses, the Egyptian prince, led the Hebrews out of captivity.  Along the voyage to the Promised Land, the Hebrew's faith in Moses seemed to fade.  After traveling for months, Moses and the Hebrews reached Mt. Sinai.  It was here that Moses seized the Ten Commandments that God had made for his followers to live by.  This is what makes Moses so important in the history of Christianity.  While Moses was at the top of the mountain obtaining the Ten Commandments, the people were below building their own god to worship.  Moses became so furious that he broke the commandments.  After taking orders from God to bring two more tablets up to the top of the Mountain, God remade the Ten Commandments.  Moses' persistence is the reason that Christians along with others have parameters to live by that is acceptable in God's eyes.  After serving God's will, Moses walked to a mountain in Jordan to never be heard from again.

"Then the Lord said, 'I have observed the misery of my people who are in Egypt; i have heard their cry on account of their taskmasters.  Indeed, I know their sufferings, and i have come down to deliver them from the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land to a good and broad land, a land flowing with milk and honey, the country of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites.  The cry of the Isrealites has now come to me; I have also seen how the Egyptians oppress them.  So come, I will send you to Pharaoh to bring my people, the Isrealites, out of Egypt.'"  Ex. 3:7-10
