A quick cliff note answer; Donald Scott was heir of Scott paper and the Trails End was his personal property were he lived. I knew Donald Scott.

Donald P. Scott was killed during a police raid on October 2, 1992 as they attempted to serve a warrant to search for marijuana.  Note none was found

•          31 officers & six agencys

Early on the morning of October 2, 1992, 31 officers from the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, Drug Enforcement Administration, Border Patrol, National Guard and Park Service entered the Scott's 200-acre ranch. Note local law enforcement would not partake or sanction. Even 2 people from Jet Propulsion helped...what this all about!

When deputies broke down the door to Scott's house, Scott's wife would later tell reporters, she screamed, "Don't shoot me. Don't kill me." Mistake are made and of course one can not fault the duty of people who do what they do all in a days work. However it was way off the charts and you don’t have to be a high school graduate to figure that one out.

Donald Scott was a multimillionaire it would have been highly unlikely that he would be growing marijuana for any commercial reason. He was anti-Drug.

Not above suspect of course if they had proof. They had none, nada, period.

He was living alone at Trails End Ranch. Yet even two researchers from Jet Propulsion Laboratories were involved in the search. They must be cowards because they did not seem to say anything about the unlawful shooting. Even Nicole’s Akita testified to her murder. The dog even barked!

Donald Scott place was famous for celebrities to hang out quite frequently. Sounds a little unusual suspect, how about busting were River Phoenix hung out, not valuable enough, evidence is recorded that the dirty deed came with forfeiture papers. Greed and more greed! Only federally enforced.

He (Donald) in fact had recent cataract surgery, and the local police refused to go on the raid.

Again abuse of power is highly suspect, no viable proof, high profile landowner, not accused of any police, state, or civic crimes, such as Koresh, or Ruby Ridge type actions.

One lone family violated by tactics that created a property put on sale because of death tax law even when the death was caused by federal, state and city authority unlawful actions.

It took eight (8) years to get retribution, and for the widow of Donald Scott to receive any compensation, justice in Hollywood

No if the law is right or wrong still lift you hands high, to curtail any potential threat and maybe, to call out to God whom we all have to answer in our conscience at the judgment day. Repent you 31 while the season allows.

Recon report obtained eyewitness accounts on the life and character of Donald Scott, of noted people who knew him before this horrendous crime. This is my soul determinate for reliving this episode in memory and to keep a short lease on crack pot head, land grabbers, it certainly could not been for marijuana or drugs.
