Author --  Felino M. Santos  -- is a veteran journalist /columnist and editor /for the last 26 years.

He was a public school teacher for 12 years from 1964 to middle of 1976 in Zamboanga City, Philippines..

As a reporter beginning in 1976, he  rose from the ranks to become the Bureau Chief of the Philippines News Agency in this city from 1979 to 1989.

He has worked as editor of several newspapers and magazines in this city . He also worked as correspondent for several news agencies  while also based in this city.

As a reporter, correspondent and as editor for 25 years, he has wrote, edited tens of thousands of news items, features, write-ups and columns for several media outfit here and on the national scene.

He  is the news editor of  Dateline Zamboanga, a 30 minute television newscast of IBC-TV Eleven since 1994.

He is also the editor-in-chief of Sun Star Zamboanga, a daily newspaper of general circulation in the region.
