I only saw Cheetahs on the first and last Safaris I took to Masai Mara. They are less numerous than lions but easier to spot than leopards. Unfortunately, I didn't see any leopards on my Safaris. They are not impossible to find, but it takes luck.

You can see the difference in season in the photos by the color of the grass. The Cheetahs in the green grass (Photos 1 to 7) were photographed in late June - early July 1994. We came across them on our last Safari shortly after entering Masai Mara through the Sand River Gate from Tanzania.
