I was kind of hesitant to have a links page on my web site. Most of the links pages I have seen are pretty stupid. I mean do you really need to know that Yahoo is a good search engine or that you can buy books at Amazon.com? The way I figure it, if you know your way around the Web well enough to find my site, yer probably pretty familar with Excite and CD Now ( hey isn't it cool the way I snuck in those links? I'm pretty slick, ain't I?). What I am trying to do with this site is to show some of the more unusual sites that I have found during my travails through cyberspace. The only bad thing is that it shows that I spend entirely too much time on the web and that I should perhaps find at least a couple of new hobbies.
P.S. There is NO PORNOGRAPHY in this link list. If you are looking for PORNOGRAPHY, you have come to the wrong place. As far as I know there is no PORNOGRAPHY anywhere on the web. I have never seen any nor have I ever searched for any PORNOGRAHY. However, if you E-Mail me, I will tell you where I would look if I was to ever try to find any PORNOGRAPHY.
This is the real reason for this links page. Most of the other links you can find at other places but this is the place where I will show the most unusual sites I have found.
Harness Racing is currrently one of my favorite activities. I go to the races in Columbus Ohio, but I primarily bet on the east coast tracks. Fantasy Football is one of my latest obsessions. It really gives you a reason to watch the games on Sunday. My team has been in first place for most of the season, but injuries have really killed us and I think it will be pretty difficult to regain the top spot. However, I think with careful planning and preparation, I can end up victorious! This is a list of the utilities I use personally. It is a good general list of programs that are easy to use and sometimes essential for everyday tasks
I spend a lot of time playing Links 2001 online. I used to play on the Zone, but now I primarily play with my buddy Pug from Lancaster. I kick his ass pretty regularly and I will probably have to go to the zone to get some real competition.
Boxing used to be the sport I followed the most. When I went back to college, time didn't permit me to follow it as much as I had in the past. I used to know the names and records of every fighter in every weight class from lightweight up. Now I don't even know the names of the champions! I still get excited when a big fight comes up, but I am not enamored of any the current fighters. I think Lennox Lewis is pretty average for a heavyweight champion and he will have to beat someone on the way up before I become a true believer.
This might be a pretty sad thing to say, but I got a lot of my national news from Howard Stern. I don't follow national events as closely as I should but I generally agree with Stern's views on most things. A lot of the show I don't like. I really have no fascination with midgets and retarded people but some of the other things he talks about are pretty interesting.
