Some of our interests lie in many different directions. Most people have an interest in things that have nothing to do with what they do for a living or their hobbies, so here are ours. read on and enjoy.

• HTML-I am interested in doing HTML, I think just because I had to learn some to do this site and make it look good, too. You can use a WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) editor, but they tend not to conform to HTML4 specs, i.e. messy tags, non-functionality of page links, etc., so that is why I studied the subject.

• CAD Drafting-I have become interested in CAD drawing, and have a few freeware programs. One of my favorite programs is Intellicad 2000 by Cadopia LLC. This is a freeware program that really kicks in that it uses standard Autocad .dwg format and can use all the 2D Autocad blocks and LISP's. I have tried to learn what I can, but will have to buy a book from them to learn more! Isn't that the way it goes? If anyone would be interested I will post some of my CAD work, but let me know if you would like .dwg or .dxf format.

• Computing Trends-I like to stay on top of the industry, and I think I devote a lot of time to this-maybe too much! Does anybody else watch TECH TV every day?

• Education-My Wife and I keep up on what my younger daughter is being taught in school. I feel that all children are entitled to the best education possible. I feel that all of us should do everything in our power to keep education at the forefront. Join you local PTA today!

• Smog Emission Laws-Here is a sore subject with me. Sen. Kopp helped pass some good laws for California, but I feel that Big Industry should pay their fair share instead of attacking the little guy. Let your representatives in congress know your feelings!

• Motorsports-I am a NASCAR junkie! If it makes loud noises, goes in circles and crashes once in a while, I dig it! You know where to find me on race day-in front of the TV!
