Even the 7 "deadly sins" are based on
fear:
ENVY - Fear there is not enough "stuff" to go around.
GLUTTONY - Fear there is not enough "food" to go around.
SLOTH - Fear of loss of power; a loser attitude.
LUST - Fear of not being loved and misuse of imagination.
ANGER - Fear of not being accepted or forgiven.
COVETOUSNESS - Fear that someone else is getting your share.
PRIDE - Fear of not being good enough
(Note: substitute "stuff," or "food,"
or whatever, for "love" and observe your feeling.)
There are many ways to overcomethese
so-called "sins", "fears," "demons," or actually "egos" if
we will allow ourselves to realize the truth about ourselves and our oneness
with the
Abundant and Generous
Universe.
You may well ask, "Isnt guilt and fear important to help us realize weve done or are making mistakes?""There is no such thing as 'wrong.' There is only that which does not serve you; does not speak the truth about Who You Are, and Who You Choose to Be.
Guilt is the feeling that keeps you stuck in who you are not.Awareness is what you are talking about, not guilt. I tell you this: Guilt is a blight upon the land and the poison that kills the plant.
You will not grow through guilt, but only shrivel and die.
Awareness is what you seek. But awareness is not guilt, and love is not fear.
Fear and guilt, I say again, are your only enemies. Love and awareness are your true friends. Yet do not confuse the one with the other, for one will kill you, while the other gives you life."
