What's New !!!!

The well-known art collector, Rene di Rosa of the Di Rosa Preserve bought my painting entitled, "Trickle-down Poverty" at the Vallejo Art Center!

I am now a board member of the Vallejo Artists Guild (VAG), responsible for Fundraising and Publicity.

The VAG now has a new home, on 930 Marin St (corner Florida St.). The space was donated by a wonderful artist and even more wonderful person, BJ Conrad.

The St Patrick's Day Fundraising was a success, thanks to everyone's hard work especially Roberta Stanton.

VAG now has a website, thanks to Molly Barr.

Tell me your Story

"The beauty of art lies in its ability to convey a message while leaving room for interpretation"

I choose to give my artwork tentative titles or no title at all - to let them stand on their own. This will also allow the viewers to make their own interpretations. No artwork clogged with ready-made meanings for me or for you. I invite everybody to make stories out of my paintings and give them permanent titles. The best stories will be put on the website. Who will decide which are the best stories? Me, of course!

OOOOPPPPPPSSSS!!!!!!

"Learn from the mistakes of others. You can t live long enough to make them all yourself!"

Boy, did I make mistakes! But I try to learn from them! I remember, when I was on fall break, I went to an island back home for a vacation. I got tired walking so I sat on the side of the dirt road. It wasnÕt actually a sidewalk because there was no road, just a trail. Then I got hit on my backside by a Jeepney. I saw it coming but it was too late! You know whatÕs so funny? There were only 3 motor vehicles on this island and I got hit by one!

So I learned never to assume anything! And I learned never to sit on the sidewalk even when there are no roads or vehicles.

Some of my nicest paintings resulted from a mistake. Go ahead, make mistakes! But learn from them.
