 Alrighty...
This should get us going...;-)
First off...
yes... that character to your left, IS me... As you can tell by the
photo... I don't do mornings well... particularly in my car.:-) I
could've probably used a few dozen cups of coffee to improve my
general demeanor.
Seriously... I
just got a fairly decent digital camera, and decided to see how much
damage I could really do with it... What you're looking at now, is
picture number one, taken in the Newport Shopping Center where I
bought the camera, by me, in my car.
I am a smoker...
for those of you health-nuts that might be curious. I firmly believe
that most of the problems caused by smoking, are in fact caused by
other external factors in the enviornment. In short... I'm going to
die... I know this... and even if I never smoked, ate healthy,
jogged, walked, and did every stupid yuppie/liberalist whizbang thing
to avoid dying... I'd STILL die...
So as long as I'm
going to die... I might just as well enjoy what time I do have, and
be comfortable in it...
Do I also drink?
Do cops give out tickets? Of course I drink... though I'm certainly
in no danger of earning any stock options from Budweiser... My
drinking budget is put to shame by the budgetary concerns of most
teenagers... If I go out with $30 bucks on a given night of drinking
and carousing... it's a fairly safe bet... I'll have a ball, and then
go out to a steak dinner after drinking, and then come home with at
LEAST $10 left in my pocket.
So why am I
sharing all this?
Easy answer... for
the three best reasons anyone does anything... for the money, for the
fun, and for the hell of it.;-)
Well... at least
for the fun and the hell of it... I sure don't expect to make any
money off of this enterprise.;-)
I take great pride
in my membership in a few fraternal organizations...
I'm also
completely full of it...;-)
Seriously
speaking... I'm a 33 year old fella... who happens to have a pretty
damn nice job, where I meet new and interesting people every day, and
have the opportunity to make some pretty interesting friends. I
drive a shuttle van for a local Airport parking lot, for a
living... and I enjoy the hell out of it.
I spent right
around 15 years in the volunteer fire and ems services... and enjoyed
the time spent. Can't say I particularly enjoyed seeing people screw
themselves up... but I knew going in that such things came with the territory.
Right now, I enjoy
web building as a hobby, (and yes, sometimes it even turns a profit),
and I enjoy pool and roller blading when I'm not working or otherwise
indulging myself on the computer. I'm also a Flight Simulator
hobbiest, and do enjoy putting the new Flight Simulator 2002 through
its paces.
Socially speaking
I do have my fair share of friends, and do enjoy spending time out
and about with them, when that time's available.

note, I'm a major Airwolf
fan.;-) True to this, I'm working on a project to build my own
Airwolf information page, with particular interest in Flight
Simulator goodies that commemorate the show.
