So here it is, the obligatory 'About Me' page, which every webmaster posts on the offchance that some random browser is going to chance upon his site and actually stay for more than three seconds. Well, if you're one of those people, hi, I'm a rampant heathen and no, there isn't enough information here to stalk me with.
I'm never sure what to put on a profile of myself. I don't fancy posting my date of birth and national insurance number, so suffice to say I am a Gemini and I was born in 1986. That means at the time of writing (Feb 07) I am 20. I'm male. Anything else shall be answered in question form, as and when I think of things a stranger might ask me.
Harry Potter

I used to love the Harry Potter books and when I created the first version of this site, I spent a frightening amount of time on the mugglenet chatrooms. This meant I spent all day, every day, talking to HP fans, about HP. I even started a HP fan fiction (though it was mostly a mickey take of other fan fics) and moderated for a while on the chat room. (Don't ask me why, I don't know either.)
Alas, I no longer like HP and I shall only be buying the last book for completion's sake. Half Blood Prince was godawful, just don't get me started on it. These days I still read fantasy books, but I'm more inclined to authors like Robin Hobb and JRR Tolkien. Still, a lot of my online friendships mean I frequent HP chats now and then and there is still a lot of residual HP influence on my webpage, which I could have got rid of, but it's entertaining in it's own right.

I spend most of my time at uni, but when I'm not asleep in the lecture theatre I can commonly be found lurking in doorways and begging for money.
Once said money is in supply, I like to go out clubbing and drinking. If I'm feeling particularly rich I like to travel, especially to Germany (which is where I one day intend to live.) When I have no money for fun nor time for hassling strangers, I tend to hang out with my flatmates and play Mario Karts for hours on end, which usually ends up in one of us throwing a giant temper tantrum and kicking over the bins.

Yes, I'm yet to finish a story, and yes, I am aware that even if I did, it would probably never get published, but I'm not the world's worst author (ref: fanfiction.net) and I like writing for my own kicks, so I figure it probably wouldn't burn people's eyes if I posted it on my own site.
Like most writers (I hesitate to use the word 'author' because to me that connotes someone who is already published) I write what I know, and that is mostly fantasy fiction. The only novel length story I've made a serious attempt at is Lance and it is plodding along, slowly but steadily.
Other than Lance and Teflon Coated Frying Pan, most of my scribbles are short, unfinished and decaying in various corners of my room. Many are quite indecipherable, but like hieroglyphics, worth reading (if you can get past my scrawl.)
