Introduction:
During my time at school I had a keen interest in 3D modelling and computer graphics, the first program I learnt to use was 3D Studio, which was the original program that had to be run in DOS mode, very old-school. When I got to college I started using 3D Studio Max which finally ran under Windows 9x, it is a very powerful program which I managed to obtain through a friend who sort of specialises in getting illegal copies of programs, any program you can think of, he'll be able to get it.
Projects:
Below you can see some pictures and a description of my favourite pieces of work.
PlayStation.2 Console & Games:
In 2000 I modelled a Playstation 2 console with a few games. I used pictures from around the internet as a base because the system had not been released in Australia at the time, this also means that a few parts are incorrect or not as detailed as the real thing, but as close as I could get them. Most of the textures were taken from around the internet and edited in Photoshop 6.0 to look right on the objects. I added a few special effects for presentation after I had finished, such as the reflections from the surface, and the LED light illuminated. It is my favourite piece of work so far, and probably had the most time put into it.
