What's all this talk of this "Blade" character? I personally was rooting for Frost throughout the entire first Blade movie. Unfortunately for us fans of the REAL hero of the movie (Frost, naturally), he, well, exploded.
I kept looking for him in the second movie. I figure Lestat comes back every time he dies... why can't Frost? But no luck. Just as well, since I seem to remember that the second Blade was a rather bad movie.
Why does everyone always like the protagonist in these movies? Without an antagonist, where would the hero be? Huh? Nowhere. He wouldn't be able to show off all his cool fighting moves and eventually make the bad guy explode. What do I say to all this liking of the hero? Frost is better! Blade wasn't even a vampire, for goodness sake!
Anyway, I am a big fan of Deacon Frost, and recommend the first Blade movie to all those interested. |
