Rail Splitters, |RS|, is an clan of individuals linked by a common game or games played online. Our membership is open and each individual's participation level is up to him or her. We do not exclude children from joining (as one of our founders is a minor) and as such insist that members conduct themselves and use language that is appropriate. To that end we only allow language that would be used in mild PG rated American films.
Enrollment in the clan is free. Should a member wish to be promoted to higher ranks they must, however, begin paying dues. This is only logical since it costs money to operate and maintain a dedicated server for hosting matches and training sessions. At RS we hope to have a "value added" experience by creating objectives and participation goals that facilitate promotion. As a member advances through the ranks the dues are reduced as a reward for your cotinued business. Opting to not pay dues means you will remain at the rank of corporal. Also you will not have prefered treatment when the server is full or when matches with other clans take place. Members may also buy up to two enlisted ranks for $10 each as well as maintain any required dues. Payments currently only accepted through PayPal.
Like gaming and computers in general we expect our members' needs to change. Towards that end we are always sending out polls as to how we can improve our clan. While we currently only operate with the Medal of Honor: Allied Assault: Spearhead Exp. game, we are anticipating the day when our members will want to shift to another game or other games. To that end we are watching for new games and trends, and monitoring our members' preferences in gaming.
