Nakago
Nakago, the infamous villian of Fushigi Yuugi.  Originally, when I logged onto Endless Dream, I knew absolutely nothing about the anime series.  I went there for the FF8 and FF7 areas, playing Irvine Kinneas and Vincent Valentine.  Well, of course I still had to interact with people from this anime series, and eventually someone from the wiz staff was kind enough to send me the entire series on disc so I could finally familiarize myself with it.

When I began watching it, I wasn't sure what to think.  The characters sort of bugged me, Miaka especially (though later she did redeem herself in my eyes).  It wasn't until I got a few episodes into it that I found a reason to keep watching incessantly... Nakago.  Tall, beautiful, psychologically dark and utterly corrupt, the Shogun of Kutou was far more -real- to me than nearly anyone else in the series.  I was hooked.

We had a Nakago on Endless Dream at one point, but the character had since been released for people to apply for.  So, as I watched the rest of the series, I began crafting my own little version of the man who almost schemed his way into Godhood.  I must really have been inspired, because it was the longest and most intimate sort of application I've ever written for a character before.

But, I confess, I'm fascinated by the dark side of humanity, and Nakago embodied it in full.

Nakago's History:

Warning:  Nakago's history is taken from the story written about him, but changed slightly to fit the theme of Endless Dream.

Nakago's Psyche:

What really goes on inside the man's head?  This is my interpretation of him.

Nakago's Powers:

The nifty things he can do.  Most of this stuff I didn't see evidence of till the end.  Still, I'd hate to have him as an enemy.

Nakago's Skills:

Well, warlords usually have something that makes them thus, no?

Other Tidbits:

Mostly the little things and some observations I've made about the character.

Logs:

Oh the twisted things he's done.

Themesongs:

Evil stuff I listen to while roleplaying him.
