| NOTE: Though Nakago is capable of the following powers, he tends not to use them unless it becomes necessary (or amusing, he does have a sick sense of humor, after all). Chi Blast- The raw physical manifestation of chi, bundled together and blasted forth with the sort of finesse that places Nakago in the upper echelons of power. This is one of Nakago's more powerful attacks, and it can easily raze anything within his path. He is capable of creating huge balls or shocks of energy and, with a seemingly endless amount of it, blast anything that he deems worthy as a target. Most things struck with such blinding force are incinerated or blown to peices almost instantly. Though when he first acquired his powers, he had little control over this, as the years have passed he's developed a calculating precision and mastery over this once wild energy. Nothing is struck that he does not want targeted. Not anymore. Chi Barrier- Forming a barrier of chi around himself, Nakago can ward off most forms of attack (both physical and magical), making it nigh impossible to injure him. This barrier can be called and dismissed with hardly a thought and is seemingly instantaneous. This can also be cast on others around him, or made to encompass an entire area. (He can create a barrier that will cover an entire building or protect a radius surrounding him upwards of a hundred feet, perhaps more if he put his mind to it.) The form of this barrier can be invisible, but if seen it forms a blue glow around himself or whatever he is protecting. Chi Sense- Nakago has an extraordinary ability to sense chi in others, and can even use it to idenfity people who are not in his immediate line of sight (or, conversely, realize he does not recognize someone at all). Seishi will find it difficult to stay hidden from him or sneak up on him unless they are heavily masking their chi. He can also sense when chi is being used or manipulated nearby, though he may not know the exact nature of the chi use or if it is directed at him. It makes him almost creepy in how omnipresent and omniscient he seems. Also, he can sense the chi of the other Seiryuu seishi from great distances, including when it is no longer present at all. Chi Manipulation- Able to see the underlying currents of chi, as well as the chi inside of others, Nakago is able to manipulate it in ways that spell bad news for his enemies. This can go so far as to actual cut someone off from their chi, rendered unable to access for spells or special powers. While under this sort of chi preventative barrier, his power is absolute, and he can sense any attempts to use chi or magic by those who have been thusly cut off. In order to prevent such a barrier, or escape from it once it's in place, one would have to have great concentration and willpower. Other forms of energies are subject to this as well, such as ether. It is not impossible to prevent or break free from, but it is difficult. This is not the only way he can manipulate chi, either, another, much more disturbing power enables him to cause a victim's chi to vaporize or implode the physical body. Psychokinesis- The ultimate power. This probably seems like something the Genie in Aladdin would call 'Phenominal Cosmic Powers!' without the itty bitty living space. Nakago can call upon his chi to cause damage to entire city blocks, if he desired, by seizing the seismic waves beneath the ground and forcing a mini earthquake, toppling tall buildings onto people, and other such effects that can be considered largely impossible feats otherwise. Wall Walking/Teleportation- Nakago can teleport himself over short distances, such as between floors of a building or from one spot to another within an immediate area. He can also teleport at least one other with him by pulling said individual against him, usually wrapping an arm or a swath of his robe around the person. He can also walk through walls by making himself temporarily insubstantial, though he cannot put himself in this state for any other reason. It makes it incredibly difficult and frustrating to harm a man who can wink out in the blink of an eye, ne? On top of his chi barriers and unnatural stamina, it lends to the rumor that Nakago is simply invincable. (Not true, but he doesn't seem to mind the reputation.) Telekinesis- Nakago has the mental ability to lift objects and people, almost regardless of size or weight, using just his mind. Frighteningly enough, he does this without so much as breaking a sweat, holding people down, tossing around objects (and people, of course), even going so far as to cave in structures. He can also use this ability to shift gravity on a person and literally crush them to death if he continued to press. For the amount of power he has access too, he has mastered it to the point that he can be surprisingly delicate with it, setting a person back to their feet or uprighting an object without the precarious shift or falter after he releases the power and gives mobility back to the target of his telekinesis. Augmented Attributes- Nakago is faster, stronger, more agile and enduring than most normal human beings. Though most of his traits are actually just above the cap for normal human capabilities, his stamina and endurance are extremely so, only adding to the fact that the man is just damned hard to hurt, and is not hurt for long if someone does actually manage to strike him. |
