Test Your Pages
Make sure that all the links work and images are loading quickly on each of your pages.  Surfers will not "stick" on your site if things are not working correctly.  Move  your  folder to the common directory and then check it over (this will check to be sure that all the items for the site are in the main web site folder).
1.  Double click on My Computer.
2.  Double click on your last name on the server.
3.  Click one time on your web site folder.
4.  Click on Edit...Copy.
5.  Double click on the Common directory.
6.  Double click on From Teacher.
7.  Double click on Design.   Double click on your last name.
8.  Click on Edit...Paste.

Test your web page.  Open the index page and test for and fix any missing images or links. Make sure that you save the changes that you 

Uploading the Pages
Now that the site is complete, you need a server to host the site.  There are several companies that will host your site for free and others for a fee.  About 1MB of space will holds approximately 10 web pages.  We will upload the site to geocities for this class.  They provide 15 MB of space for free with a minimal amount of advertising.   Click on the geocities link and create an account.
1.  Create a sub directory for images.
2.  Go up one level and create a sub directory for pages.
3.  Click on the images sub directory.
4.  Scroll down to the upload area.  Browse to your image folder and double click on an image file.
5.  Repeat step 4 until all the images are ready to upload.  Then click on upload.
6.  Click on the pages sub directory.
7.  Scroll down to the upload area.  Browse to your pages folder and double click on a file.
8.  Click on upload.
9.  Check out your site on the web!
10.  E-Mail your address to your classmates.
