RadioNexo RoamServer Requirements

The RadioNexo RoamServer requires a UNIX or WindowsNT/2000 platform. Other processes, such as a firewall or authentication server can run on this platform concurrently. Basic platform requirements are:

• Connectivity to an authentication server
• Accounting server (optional)
• Server must be Internet-accessible - if placed behind an ICSA certified firewall, the firewall must not block inbound connections to an RadioNexo specified TCP port, and must not block outbound connections to the RadioNexo Transaction Centers

Installation on a Windows NT/2000 Server

• NT Version 4.0 Server, Service Pack 4 or later (not NT Workstation) or any service level of Windows 2000 Server Family
• Intel Pentium architecture processor
• 5MB temporary disk space
• 15MB permanent disk space plus space for log files and log file backups, as desired
• 10MB memory for the running service and its threads
• Intermediate system administration skills with Administrator privileges

Installation on a UNIX Server

• 5MB temporary disk space
• 15MB permanent disk space
• Intermediate system administration skills required (should be familiar with modifying files like /etc/services and /etc/inetd.conf, and concepts like RADIUS Shared Secrets), Root access required
• One of the supported Platforms: Solaris 5.6 or later, Linux RedHat 6 compatible or later, FreeBSD 3.2 compatible or later.

RadioNexo Client Requirements
The RadioNexo connection software gets installed on the laptops or handheld clients of your remote users. RadioNexo provides several client options.

RadioNexoConnect for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000

• 15MB free disk space
• 486/25 or faster CPU
• 16MB RAM
• Microsoft TCP/IP protocol installed
• A properly installed/configured modem

RadioNexoConnect for Mac OS
(This is the RadioNexo customized client software)

• Mac OS system 8.6, 9.0, 9.1 ( OS X not supported at this time)
• 32 Mb RAM
• 10 Mb free disk space
• Open Transport OT/PPP version 2.6 or later
• A properly installed/configured modem

RadioNexoConnect for PDAs

Palm OS®
• RadioNexoConnect for Palm OS® (Palm OS® 3.0 and later)
• 2MB or greater memory
• A properly installed/configured modem

WinCE
• RadioNexoConnect PDA for WinCE/Pocket PC OS® WinCE 2.11, 3.0 (Pocket PC)
• 16MB or greater memory
• A properly installed/configured modem
