Asistencia 24x7
We have found that these simple troubleshooting tips solve 80% of the problems reported by RadioNexo users.

Update your RadioNexo Phonebook
We update our phonebook weekly. We manage our 170+ service providers to provide an optimum mix of low cost, high quality, redundancy, and coverage across the globe. If we notice that a particular service provider is having difficulty we may remove their access points from our phonebook, to ensure the highest-quality end-user experience. Before traveling always make sure your phonebook is up-to-date -- from the main screen click on Options, then 'update phonebook'. If you are using non-RadioNexo client software please contact your service provider and follow their phonebook update instructions.

Use the RadioNexo connection software
When connecting with RadioNexo you must use one of the RadioNexo connection clients- RadioNexoConnect for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP, RadioNexoConnect for Mac OS 9.x, or RadioNexoConnect PDA for Palm OS®, Win CE, and PocketPC. These products not only have the phone numbers for you to select, but also include other key properties, such as the connection scripts associated with those phone numbers as well as any special dialing rules required for in-country local dialing. If you are not using one of these products you will typically have problems connecting. Contact your ISP or support desk to obtain the latest version of these software packages.

Check your user name and password
Be sure that you are appending @domain at the end of your username when you are trying to get connected. This is most likely your complete email address. For example, if you user name is typically jsanders and your company domain is company.com, then your user name when using RadioNexo is [email protected]. The RadioNexoConnect software has a separate field for the @domain suffix.

Be sure you are using the appropriate dial string prefix
If you are dialing in from a hotel or office, you will often have to put a prefix in front of the phone number such as 8 or 9. Please check to see that you are dialing the number correctly.

Try an alternative access point
If you have already been successfully using the RadioNexo service and you are having trouble connecting through a particular access point, check to see if there is an alternative number to use. RadioNexo has several network providers in major business centers in case one service provider suffers a temporary service outage.

Ensure you have Dial-Up Scripting installed
Microsoft Windows Dial-Up Scripting support is required when dialing RadioNexo access points. Scripting support is installed with the following:

  • Windows 2000 (all versions, regardless of Service Pack level)
  • Windows NT 4.0 (all versions, with Service Pack 3 or later)
  • Windows 98 (all versions, regardless of Service Pack level)
  • Windows 95a or Windows 95b (with Service Pack 1 or later)
NOTE: The original Windows 95 version is not supported.
If the above still hasn't resolved the problem...
If you continue to experience a service problem after trying the above suggestions, please contact your ISP or support desk to explain the problem you are experiencing. They will be able to assist you, and they will escalate problems to RadioNexo if appropriate. Please be sure to provide them with as much information about your system as possible. It will help to have the following information ready:
  • Operating System and version
  • RadioNexo client software type and version
  • Access point dialed (city and phone number or POP)
  • Any error message you received (including error number, if known)
  • Approximate time and day of dial attempt(s)
