I sit and dream of the ocean
The sounds of the waves against the shore
The sounds of the seagulls as they fly
So peaceful and undisturbed
Uncontrolled by man
Only by the winds and time

As I stand and listen to my heart
I hear the questions that surround me
Why the hurts
Why so much pain
Hasn�t there been enough throughout my days
Then I remember how thankful I should be
Some go through so much more then me
To teach others life is worth fighting for
Find your happiness not in the things you possess
But in the friendships and love of the people you have
Be thankful each day for the breath you have
