Facilities, Prices, Booking, & Travel Facilities: We have two compost toilets of different designs and some information about each is inside. All the water comes from our own springs and has been piped to different points on the land. We have a solar shower for use during sunlight hours and a gas one for other times if it is cooler. There are several compost areas for kitchen waste and a recycling bay for sorting glass, metal, plastic and paper. Also for use are two natural style pools for cooling off in the heat of the day. For a longer swim the Rio Mondego is a 10 minute walk away. We offer for sale fruit and vegetables in season, dried fruit, herbs, eggs, juice, bread, cakes and other products. The village is 10 minutes walk away and has all basic amenities. Vegetarian breakfast and dinner can be served if requested. The caravan sleeps four in either 2 double beds or a double and 2 singles. It has solar-powered lights, gas cooker and fire. The kitchen is fully equipped and linen is available on request. Prices: Camping (March - October): 5 euros per person for each night. Caravan: 15 euros per night for 1 person (5 euros per extra person for each night). 100 euros per week for 1 person (25 euros per extra person each week). Extras: Vegetarian breakfast: 5 euros.
