Forces
- There are 4 known forces: gravitational force, electromagnetic force, strong nuclear force, and weak nuclear force

Gluons
- Hypothetical subatomic particle that mediates the strong force between quarks

Hadrons
- Component of nuclear matter (e.g. protons, neutrons, pion)
- Is an elementary particle

Mass Gap
- Property that describe when traveling at the speed of light, quantum particles still have mass

Nucleus
- The central part of the atom
- Hadrons are located here

Particle
- A very small portion of matter

Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD)
- Theory that explains the behaviour of quarks and gluons

Quantum Particles
- Particles that have a minimum amount of physical quantity that can exist in an atom

Quarks
- Quarks are combined to form hadrons
- Six types of quarks: up, down, charm, strange, top and bottom

Strong Nuclear Force
- The strong force that binds quarks and hadrons together in the nucleus of an atom
- Also known as the strong force

Theory of Relativity
- Anything that has mass, will have a mass equal to zero when it travels at the speed of light
